Aleš Bratovž parquet flooring is a business based in Trzin that has been working since 2013. We specialise in laying, sanding and restoring parquet and in laying laminate.

Our work is built on precision, reliability and quality materials. Before we start, we look at the room and the subfloor, help you choose the material, pattern and finish, and complete the work within the agreed time.

Every photo on this site is from one of our own jobs. They show how the work really goes: from preparing the subfloor and gluing to sanding, filling and lacquering.

Our principles

Four things we keep in mind on every job.

01

Subfloor first

Before we lay parquet, we check that the subfloor is flat, firm and dry. How long the floor stays beautiful depends on it.

02

A clear agreement

Before we start, you know what we will do, with which materials and at what price.

03

Careful work

Joints, edges and transitions between rooms are what set a well laid floor apart from an average one.

04

Less dust

We sand with machines connected to a dust extractor, so there is less dust in the room.

How we work

From the first visit to a finished floor.

A clear process means fewer surprises. At every step you know what comes next.

  1. 01

    Call and visit

Call us and briefly describe what you need. We arrange a visit to look at the room, the subfloor and the existing floor.

  2. 02

    Advice and quote

We help you choose the parquet, pattern and finish and prepare a quote describing the work.

  3. 03

    Preparation and work

We prepare the subfloor, then lay, sand or restore the parquet as agreed.

  4. 04

    Finish and handover

We protect the floor with lacquer or oil and explain at handover how to look after it.
